The Cobblestone

This is a tiny bar/venue but is packed with some and they were playing some rockin Irish music.  Some of Ireland’s most talented musicians play here. They have jam sessions daily.  Get there early as the Cobblestone packs them in.  We ventured to the Cobblestone on a Sunday and arrived around 9pm and it was packed.  We lucked and found a couple of seats at the end of the bar.  Couldn’t see the band but we were thankful to luck out and find a place to sit.  The acoustics were great at the Cobblestone, so we were able to hear the band. The Cobblestone is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Dublin.

The customers and bartenders were very welcoming.  Met some awesome people and had some wonderful conversations with everyone.

This is the place to go and listen to all kinds of Irish music.  If you are in Dublin make sure to stop in and listen to the music.  Saturdays and Sundays music starts at 2. They say “The Cobblestone is a drinking pub with a music problem.”
